Five Easy Ways to Register
1. Registration by mail
To register by mail, complete the registration form and send your payment to JCCC. Payment may include a check, money order payable to JCCC, or Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express card number and expiration date. If you pay by check, write your student ID on the bottom-left corner of the check. Sign and return form to:

You will be notified only if the class is full. If no space is available, JCCC will automatically issue a refund.
2. Registration by fax – 913.469.4414
Fax your completed registration form with your credit card number or a copy of a company purchase order. Our fax number is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For popular classes, we advise you to register by phone or in person.
3. Registration by phone – 913.469.2323
Telephone registration is available to those charging their fees to MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express. Registration is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m and 5 p.m. Remember, spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. When you call please have the following information available:
student name and identification number
address
daytime phone number
the course CRN number
credit card number and expiration date
During phone-in registration, you may find that it takes persistence to get through. We regret any inconvenience to you and urge you to keep trying. Thank you for your patience.
4. Registration via the World Wide Web
You will need a JCCC PIN to enroll online. If you do not have a PIN and would like to register on the Web, call Continuing Education Registration at 913-469-2323.
Note: The Take 3 Fee is not applicable with registration on the Web.
1. Go to www.jccc.edu
The enrollment system is available 24 hours a day with the exception of 11 p.m. Sunday to 2 a.m. Monday. Other downtimes for maintenance may occur. You will need to use version 5.0 or higher of either Netscape or Internet Explorer to access Web registration. If you do not have this version, you will be able to download it from our Web site.
2. Click on "MyJCCC" in the upper right-hand corner. Then, enter your user name and PIN in the Secure Access Login box and click Go. (As of Aug. 11,2003, your user ID is the same as your e-mail ID and will no longer be a nine-digit number. To find out your user name, if you had one previously, enter your previous nine-digit ID number and PIN. A secure window will then appear with the information about your user name and how to use it.)
If you do not have a PIN and would like to register on the Web, call Continuing Education Registration at 913-469-2323.
The first time you access MyJCCC you will be asked to set up a personal profile. This is optional and can be by passed by clicking on the "I do not accept" button at the bottom of the screen. You will be asked to log in again with your new ID and PIN. First-time users will be given their user ID when registering for the course.
3. Click on the EASI tab at the top of the page.
4. Click on Student and Financial Aid, then click on Registration.
5. Click on Enrollment.
6. Click on Add/Drop Classes, then select the "Continuing Ed Spring 2007" term and click Submit.
7. Enter the CRNs of the classes you want under “Add Classes Worksheet”and click Submit Changes.
8. Click on MyFinances at the bottom right corner of the registration screen or at the top of the page for payment information. All fees are due when you register.
Take 3 Fee
Take advantage of our Take 3 Fee!
This customer appreciation discount is available for most classes listed in the catalog and online when you do one of the following:
- Enroll in three different classes
- Enroll with two other people in the same class
- Enroll with two other people in different classes
When the total adds up to three, you save! You’ll receive the Take 3 Fee when you register if the number of classes or the number of people enrolling totals at least three.
To receive the discount, all enrollments must be submitted simultaneously to registration by enrollment form, fax or phone registration. If registering by phone, tell the operator you will be enrolling using the Take 3 Fee. To register by phone, call 913.469.2323. For more information, call 913.469.3845. Payment Information
Brown and Gold
Where applicable, class fees for Brown & Gold members are displayed in parenthesis after the class description. Example: (B&G $20). You must be a current member of the Brown & Gold Club before enrolling in classes at the B&G rate.
Confirmations and cancellations
Approximately two weeks after your registration is received, you will receive a Schedule/Account Summary that serves as a confirmation of your registration, a receipt of your payment and a schedule of your classes.
Formation of all classes depends upon sufficient enrollment. JCCC reserves the right to cancel, combine or divide classes, to change the time, date or place they meet, and to make other revisions as necessary and to do so without incurring obligation. The information in this schedule is based on conditions at the time or printing and is subject to change. If a class is changed or cancelled, you will be notified. Please be sure your correct home address and phone numbers are on your registration form.
Payment by the Web
If you register by Web, your credit card payment is due the day you register. If you fail to complete the fee payment process, your registration will be deleted.
Payment by a third party
If your employer or a government agency will be paying your fees, a letter of authorization or a purchase order must be received along with your registration information. The authorization should be on company letterhead and signed by an authorized individual from the company. Any part of the fees not covered by the third party must be paid with registration. An individual may not be invoiced as a third party. If you have questions about these procedures, call 913-469-8500 ext. 3262.
Certificates
Upon successful completion of the seminar or course, you will receive a certificate of participation with the number of continuing education units and/or hours earned.
CEUs
You can be awarded continuing education units for attending each seminar. The CEU is a nationally recognized unit for documenting your continued efforts in self-improvement through education.
The direct cost of JCCC’s continuing education and community services programs is self-supporting. Taxpayer funds are not used for these programs or publications. JCCC is an equal opportunity employer.
